The full loop

From the drawing in your inbox
to a furnished home.

Six steps, no redrawing. A PDF, a PNG, even a phone photo of a paper plan — Poché works on whatever you already have.

01

Upload the plan you already have

PDF, PNG, JPG, or WEBP, up to 60 MB. A CAD-printed vector PDF is the ideal input — Poché reads the poché itself, the solid-filled walls, and turns it into snap and collision geometry. A phone photo of a paper plan works too; you'll just calibrate by hand.

  • Multi-sheet PDFs keep their sheets — furnish the first floor and the basement in one project.
  • Nothing is redrawn. Your drawing stays exactly as drawn; furniture lives on a layer above it.
02

Set the scale — three ways

Real-world inches are Poché's source of truth, so scale comes first.

  • Preset: ¼″ = 1′-0″ covers most American house plans. One click.
  • Two-click calibration: click both ends of any labeled dimension and type what it says. Works on photos, sketches, anything.
  • Auto-detect: on vector PDFs, Poché measures the wall thickness itself and proposes a scale with a confidence readout — always verify with the Measure tool; the app tells you when it isn't sure.
03

Place real furniture at true size

A 246-piece library of standard-size footprints — sofas to sectionals, king beds to poker tables, ranges to squat racks — every glyph hand-drawn the way a drafter would draw it.

  • Honest clearances: amber halos for walkways and door swings; redline when pieces collide or sit in a wall.
  • Drafting behaviors: wall snapping, smart guides, shift-axis lock, pinned dimensions, multi-select, undo all the way down.
  • Phone-ready: the whole editor works on a phone at the showroom — nudge pad, bottom toolbar, live sync back to the laptop.
04

Check what the plan can't tell you

  • Delivery fit: mark your doorways once and every piece gets a verdict. Poché asserts "clears straight in" only from pure geometry or vendor carton specs — anything estimated says verify, plainly.
  • Electrical notes: annotate outlet and fixture change-requests on the plan while the walls are still open, and print them for your builder walk.
  • Room budgets: a running total per room as you place and shop.
05

Shop by what actually fits

Select a footprint and search real stores for products in that exact size — results ranked by fit, never by payout.

  • Fit search keeps its promise: sizes come from store variants, published specs, and description fine print. A 120″ table search finds the 10′ option at that size's real price.
  • 40+ live stores plus IKEA with real shipping-carton data; paste any product URL and Poché reads its true dimensions.
  • Compare tray, wishlist, size pickers — and My Furniture, for testing the sofa you already own against any plan you'll ever load.
06

Export like a drafter

  • Paper-true PDF: printed at 100%, your furnished sheet reproduces at the original drawing scale — lay a scale ruler on it.
  • Moving Pack: a cover sheet plus one checklist page per room, meant to be taped to each door on moving day.
